About the race
The ATR Summer Series 2026-27 is a six-race trail running series held across multiple locations in South Australia, with the Bridgewater race scheduled for 13 December 2026. The series includes a mix of course lengths and an XL subseries that combines Belair XL, Robe Run 42.2 km and Surf Run 30 km. Series scoring awards points for age group and overall placings. Top-five finishers score points on each event, with Robe Run and Surf Run carrying a 50 percent bonus to the standard points scale.
Only the best four scores from the six races count toward a runner's series total. To qualify for series awards a runner must start at least four races; the XL subseries requires at least two XL races to qualify. Overall distance winners are prioritised over age group winners. Age group categories for 2026-27 use 10-year increments; XL age categories are Under 25, 25-40, 40-55 and 55 plus.
Prizes are awarded in male and female categories only; non-binary entrants are welcome but not eligible for prize categories. Runners are classified by their age on 17 January 2027. Event logistics noted for the series include morning bib pick-up on race day and published cut-off times by course. Minimum entry ages: XL and Long 15 years, Medium 12 years, Short 10 years.
