Port Loop Coastal 2026 - RUN RED
Port Loop Coastal returns for its 11th consecutive year in Port Adelaide, using Hart's Mill Playground on Mundy Street as the event base. The run follows the Port Loop path around the Inner Harbour at Port Adelaide.
The course is AIMS measured and is described as a 5 km northern loop across the Birkenhead Bridge followed by a 2 km southern loop across Jervois Bridge. Distances offered include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km half marathon
Race entry includes a race bib and a finisher medal. Race bibs are available at check-in on race morning from the start/finish area. Registered participants receive an event email with further details before the event.
The event has a XMAS theme titled RUN RED. A trophy is awarded to the person judged to best represent the theme, as voted by those in attendance. Part proceeds are donated to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF).
A Virtual Run option is offered for this event. Virtual participants must run on the official event day at their chosen location, record their run showing elapsed or total time, and submit the result link or a screenshot for inclusion in published results. Virtual entries include a race bib and finisher medal which require collection as items are not posted. Virtual runs have no cut-off time and are set at a fixed price.
