Ugly Sweater 5k at Left Hand Brewing Company
The Ugly Sweater 5k is a community running event that starts and ends at Left Hand Brewing Company in Longmont, Colorado. The event is scheduled for December 5, 2026 and features a 5k untimed fun run on an open course where roads remain open and participants must obey traffic laws. The route is created to showcase the surrounding neighborhood and will be marked with arrows and volunteers.
Participants who complete the course receive one free craft brew at the finish line, an Ugly Sweater seal holiday ornament that also serves as a finisher medal, and an Ugly Sweater seal sticker. Registered, underage participants receive a token for a free nonalcoholic beverage. Attendees have access to event festivities including live music, games, giveaways, and merchandise from the Colorado Brewery Running Series such as shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, and drinkware.
Additional notes: registration is limited to the capacity of the taproom; there is no bag check on site; dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with appropriate caution; public parking is available and public transit may be an option. There is an optional Ugly Sweater sweatshirt add-on with an order deadline of November 15 to guarantee sizes. A portion of event proceeds supports local nonprofits.
