Uff DA Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
The 24th annual Uff-Da Run takes place in Woodville, Wisconsin, centered at Zion Lutheran Church on Lockwood Street. The event offers three distances:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K run and walk
The course begins in downtown Woodville and the majority of it runs on a scenic, shaded, abandoned railroad bed. The route is described as flat and fast. Water is provided at mile 1.25, 3.5, 5, the half marathon turnaround, 8, 9.75, and 11.75. Refreshments are provided at the finish.
The race location is about an hour drive from both the Twin Cities area and Eau Claire, and Woodville is just off I-94, Exit 24, with County Road B passing two miles through town. Packet pickup takes place at Zion Lutheran Church on race day. Registration information notes that participants must register by May 1 to receive a t shirt. Base registration fees are listed by distance and higher fees apply for race day entries.
Awards include a Norwegian rosemaling plate for first place overall male and female, plus first through third place awards in multiple age groups from 14 and under through 70 and over. Awards are presented upon age group completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
