Willow River Run
The Willow River Run is a 5K and 10K run/walk event. It starts and finishes at the Mary Park center pavilion in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
Both races are out-and-back courses. The 5K course goes to Oak Ridge (147th) and back. The 10K course goes out, loops around Fox Run, and then returns to Mary Park. The route will be marked with orange cones and orange paint on the road. Participants are asked to stay to the left of the cones on the way out and to the right on the way back.
The event is chip-timed by MTEC events. Results will be available immediately at MTECRESULTS.COM. There will be water stops: one for the 5K and two for the 10K. Water, refreshments, and snacks will be provided at the finish line. The course will have corner marshals and police at major intersections, and an ambulance will provide a sweep.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 10-year age group increments. Overall winners receive a medal and award.
Packet pickup starts at 6 AM at the Mary Park center pavilion. Registration remains open online until 15 minutes before the start. Day-of sign-up is available, but shirts are only guaranteed for registrations before June 30, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
