Willow River Run : New Richmond, WI
Willow River Run offers timed 5K and 10K run/walk options on an out-and-back course that starts and finishes at Mary Park in New Richmond. The event is chip timed by MTEC Events and results are available at MTECRESULTS.COM.
Distances:
- 5K - out-and-back to Oak Ridge (147th)
- 10K - out, loop around Fox Run, then return to Mary Park
The course is marked with orange cones and orange paint for turns; participants are asked to stay left of cones on the way out and right on the way back. Corner marshals and police will be present at major intersections, and an ambulance will sweep the course. There is one water stop for the 5K and two water stops for the 10K. Water, refreshments, and snacks will be available at the finish area.
Packet pickup takes place at the Mary Park center pavilion at 6 AM on race morning. Awards are given in 10-year age groups with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places; overall winners receive a medal and award. Online registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes June 20, 2026; race day sign-up is available. Registrations made after June 30, 2026 are not guaranteed a shirt. This is a no-cash onsite event; bibs and chips must be obtained through RunSignUp. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
