Willow River Run : New Richmond, WI
The Willow River Run is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Mary Park, Center Pavilion in New Richmond, Wisconsin. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K run/walk
- 10K run/walk
Course, timing and logistics
Both races are out-and-back courses that start and finish at Mary Park. The 5K goes out and back to Oak Ridge (147th). The 10K goes out, loops around Fox Run, and returns to Mary Park. The course is marked with orange cones and orange paint at turns; participants are asked to stay left of the cones on the way out and right on the way back. Corner marshals and police will staff major intersections, and an ambulance will provide a sweep of the course.
The race is chip timed by MTEC Events and results will be posted at MTECRESULTS.COM. There will be one water table on the 5K and two on the 10K, plus water, refreshments and snacks at the finish. Packet pickup takes place at the Mary Park center pavilion at 6 AM on race morning. Registration opens January 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM CST. Entry price is $30 per event. Race day sign-up is available, online registration via RunSignup is required to receive a bib and chip, and no cash will be accepted onsite. Awards are given in 10-year age groups for 1st–3rd place; overall winners receive a medal and award. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after June 30, 2026.
