Run the River 5k Run/Walk
Organized by the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust, the Run the River 5k Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run occur on 07/11/2026 at Glen Park, 361 W Park St, River Falls, WI 54022, US. The event combines a community race with activities focused on watershed conservation and public outreach.
The main 5k is chip timed and awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each gender across seven age divisions. The Kids Fun Run is a 1K; all participants in the kids event receive a participation award.

Registration fee structure is published for early bird and standard periods. Early bird fees before June 1 are listed as $30 for the 5k and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Standard fees after June 1 are listed as $45 for the 5k and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Registrations submitted by June 26 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
After the race there is a community gathering with refreshments and informational materials about KRLT efforts to preserve habitat, improve water quality, and maintain public access within the Kinnickinnic River watershed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
