Run the River 5k Run/Walk
Run the River 5k Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run takes place on 07/10/2027 at Glen Park, 361 W Park St, River Falls, WI 54022. The event is presented by the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust and is open to participants of all ages.
Distances
- 5K chip timed; awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd by gender across seven age divisions.
- 1K Kids Fun Run; all participants receive a participation award.
Standard registration fees were $30 for the 5k and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. The organizer noted that registration had closed as of Friday 7/10 at 7:00PM. Registrations received after June 29 were not guaranteed a race t-shirt; any remaining shirts were distributed during packet pickup on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies lasted. If additional shirts were ordered, registrants were to be notified with pickup details following the event.
The event combines community activity with conservation goals. After the race, the program included refreshments and information about the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust's work preserving habitat, improving water quality, and safeguarding public access throughout the watershed.
