Run the River 5k Run/Walk
Run the River 5k is a community running event held on July 11, 2026 at Glen Park, 361 W Park St, River Falls, WI 54022. The event is presented by the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust and focuses on supporting conservation of the Kinnickinnic River watershed.
The event program includes these distances:
- 5k Run/Walk chip timed; awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd by gender in seven age divisions.
- 1k Kids Fun Run participation award for all participants.
Early bird registration fees apply for sign ups before June 15. Early bird fees are $30 for the 5k and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Standard registration fees after June 15 are $45 for the 5k and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Registrations open March 30, 2026. The 5k registration closes June 16, 2026 and the Kids Fun Run registration closes July 11, 2026. Registrations submitted by June 26 are guaranteed a race t shirt.
After the run there is a community and conservation gathering with refreshments and information about local conservation work. The organizer will share details about preserving habitat, improving water quality, and safeguarding public access across the watershed.
