About the race
The Uff Da 5K Run/Walk is the first annual event hosted by the Sons of Norway Abel Lodge. It is scheduled for September 19, 2026, and is organized to celebrate Norwegian culture while raising funds to preserve and modernize the lodge's 94 year old building.
The course uses the local trail system near the Port Authority Offices at 15400 Airport Drive. Parking and check-in are located at or near the Port Authority Offices at that address. Participants can expect Vikings to cheer along the route and Scandinavian refreshments after the event.
Registration information is provided in advance: registration opens on July 15 and closes on September 19, with a registration fee of $15. When registering, participants may order the official Uff Da 5K shirt; shirt orders must be placed by August 10. Additional shirts may be available for purchase on the day of the event.
