Course Details
The race features a point-to-point course located within Fort Clinch State Park. The route follows Fort Clinch Road, beginning at the Entry Gate and concluding at the Visitors Center parking lot. The environment is defined by a lush tree canopy that covers nearly the entire path. The terrain is approximately 60% flat, with the remainder consisting of gently undulating hills.
Logistics and Timing
Entry to the park is complimentary for race participants. Since the course is point-to-point, transportation is available via golf carts provided by E Wheelz to move participants between the parking areas and the event locations. Parking is available at the Main Beach, the Recreation Center, or the Visitors Center parking lot.
The race is professionally chip-timed to ensure accurate course measurement and fast results. Participants who register for the 5K before the specified cut-off date receive an event t-shirt.
