U and I Equals Infinity 5K
The U and I Equals Infinity event includes a 5K Run/Walk and a Fun Run to support the Learning Without Limits mission, which provides training, materials, and resources for local educators and students to create more equal learning opportunities. The event is scheduled for August 29, 2026.
The 5K course is a point to point in Fort Clinch State Park along Fort Clinch Road, starting at the park entry gate and finishing at the Visitors Center parking lot. Almost the entire route is under tree canopy. The course is about 60% flat with the remainder consisting of gently undulating hills. Entry to the park is complimentary for runners.
Parking is available outside the park at the main beach, the recreation center, or the Visitors Center parking lot. E Wheelz will provide golf cart transportation in both directions between parking and the course area.
Prizes for male and female overall 5K winners are provided by Game Changers: first place receives a pair of shoes valued at $150; second and third places receive Goodr sunglasses valued at $30 each. The 5K is chip timed by Milestone Race Authority.
Registration fees and T shirt cutoff dates are published. Fun Run entries do not include a shirt but a shirt may be purchased separately. A Virtual Race App can record GPS distance and upload verified times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
