Two Hats One Mile

Two Hats One Mile is a Last Runner Standing endurance race held June 20, 2026 at Two Hats Ranch near Big Rapids, MI. The event takes place on a single one mile loop on private land about ten minutes from Big Rapids. The loop includes roughly 150 feet of elevation gain, woodsy trail surfaces, some fast runnable sections, and a sandy downhill through an open field back to the start area.

Runners must complete each loop within a 20 minute time limit and be positioned in the starting corral ready to begin the next loop. To continue, a runner must leave the corral at the loop start and take two steps past the starting line. Runners who return after the time limit or who fail to complete the loop are eliminated. No on course aid is permitted.

Participants must be at least 14 years old on race day. Field size is limited to 100 runners; registrations beyond that will be placed on a waiting list and additional spots may be added at the organizer's discretion. Registration includes a runner identification bracelet, a T shirt, and a 12 by 12 foot personal recoup space near the corral. Proceeds will be donated to Montcalm/Mecosta Youth For Christ.

Children under 14 must be supervised and are encouraged to remain within the participant 12 by 12 area or other marked spectator areas. Pets are not allowed. No refunds or rollovers are issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
