Two Hats One Mile : June 20, 2026
Two Hats One Mile is a Last Runner Standing endurance race held at Two Hats Ranch near Big Rapids, MI on June 20, 2026. The event is in its second year and the field is limited to 100 registered runners; additional entries will be placed on a waiting list and organizers may add spots at their discretion. Registration opens April 7, 2026.
The race uses a one mile loop on private land about ten minutes from Big Rapids. The loop includes roughly 150 feet of elevation gain, woodsy trail conditions, some fast runnable sections, and a sandy downhill through an open field that returns to the start and corral. Runners must complete each loop within a 20 minute time limit and be in the corral ready to start the next loop; failure to meet course or time requirements results in elimination.
Participants must be at least 14 years old on race day. Registration includes a runner ID bracelet, a T-shirt, and a 12 by 12 foot personal recoup space near the corral. No unsupervised children under 14 are allowed and no pets are permitted. The event does not issue refunds or rollovers. Proceeds from the race will be donated to Montcalm/Mecosta Youth For Christ.
