Two Hats One Mile
Two Hats One Mile is a Last Runner Standing endurance race held on June 20, 2026 at Two Hats Ranch near Big Rapids, Michigan. The event uses a one mile loop on private land located about 10 minutes from Big Rapids. The course features approximately 150 feet of elevation gain, woodsy trail conditions, some fast runnable sections, and a sandy downhill through an open field to the start and finish area.
The format requires runners to complete each loop within a 20 minute limit and return to the starting corral ready for the next loop. The field is limited to 100 runners; entries beyond that number are placed on a waiting list and additional spots may be added at the organizer's discretion. Participants must be at least 14 years old on race day and every participant must be a registered runner.
Registration includes a runner ID bracelet, a T-shirt, and a 12 by 12 foot personal recoup space near the corral. The event does not allow pets and does not issue refunds or rollovers; registration fees for no-shows are donated. Proceeds from the race will be donated to Montcalm/Mecosta Youth For Christ.
Winner declaration follows specific rules: a solo victory lap completed within the time limit is required in certain final loop scenarios; if the last runner cannot complete the required loop in time, there is no winner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
