Event Overview
The Evart 4th of July 5K is a walk/run event held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Evart, Michigan. The race supports Evart Public Schools.
Distances and Registration
The event has two categories:
- 5K Run/Walk Adult: For ages 19-100, with a registration fee of $25.
- 5K Run/Walk Youth: For ages 18 and under, with a registration fee of $15.
Packet pickup is available on July 3 at the Evart Elementary School from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, or on the race day at the start area. Day-of registration is also available.
Course and Location
The 5K course starts and finishes at Evart Elementary School, located at 515 N. Cedar Street. The route is designed to go through downtown Evart.
Post-Race and Awards
Refreshments and music will be available at the finish line. All participants receive a commemorative ribboned button. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, ranging from 0-9 to 70 and over. An extra prize is given for the most patriotic outfit.
Additional Information
Volunteers provide support on the course. Pets are not allowed to participate. Results are available at the finish line immediately after the race and are posted online later the same day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
