Evart 4th of July 5K walk/run
The Evart 4th of July 5K walk/run is held on July 4, 2026 at Evart Elementary School, 515 N. Cedar St., Evart, MI. The event offers a single distance: a 5K run/walk with separate adult and youth entries. Adult entry fee is $25.00; youth entry (18 and younger) is $15.00.
The course is organized to start and finish at Evart Elementary, with refreshments and music at the finish area. Course support is provided by volunteers. All participants receive a ribboned commemorative button. Medals for 1st through 3rd place, male and female, are awarded in age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Photographs will be taken during the event and posted online; participants may inform a 5K volunteer if they do not want their picture posted. Pets are prohibited from participating in the event. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Evart Elementary and on race day at the start area. Race results are available at the finish area and are posted online later the same day.
