Evart 4th of July 5K walk/run
The Evart 4th of July 5K walk/run is a community 5K event held in Evart, Michigan on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Evart Elementary School, 515 N. Cedar St., and is routed to better incorporate the event within downtown Evart. The event includes two entries: a 5K Run/Walk Adult and a 5K Run/Walk Youth.
Support on the course is provided by volunteers. Refreshments and music will be available at the finish area. Photographs may be taken during the event; participants can inform a volunteer if they do not want their picture taken. Pets are prohibited from participating.
All participants receive a ribboned button commemorating the 5K. Medals for the 5K run/walk are awarded to places 1 through 3, male and female, in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Results are available at the finish area immediately after the race and are posted later that day on the Evart July 4th 5K website.
Entry fees are listed as $25 for adults and $15 for youth 18 and younger. An extra prize opportunity is noted for the most patriotic outfit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
