Twisted Pine Run 2026
Twisted Pine Run is the 10th annual end of summer cross-country style race at South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon on September 26, 2026. The event offers three distances and uses a shared core course that branches as distances increase. The route moves through trails, shore pines and sand, and features rolling coastal terrain rather than highly technical mountain trails. Course maps and GPX files are planned but not yet posted.
Distances include:
- 5K : all trail, one aid station, difficulty about 3/5.
- 10K : includes the 5K course plus about one mile of beach, two aid stations.
- Half Marathon : adds about 3.3 miles road and 2.7 miles beach; three aid stations.
Every finisher receives a medal. Overall awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each distance, with separate age-group ribbons. Optional shirts are available in a triblend short-sleeve tee or a women’s racerback tank. Registration is handled through UltraSignup and is currently open. Final packet pickup, parking and other race-day details will be posted and emailed to registered participants as they are confirmed. The race is produced by Ardor Adventures.
