Newport Marathon – Newport, Oregon
The Newport Marathon is an annual road race event in Newport on Oregon’s central coast. The event offers a full marathon and a half marathon and is presented by Oregon Coast Bank. The full marathon is eligible as a Boston qualifying course.
The event is produced by the Newport Marathon Association and the Newport Boosters as a nonprofit. Proceeds are used to support school athletics in Newport, Oregon. The organizer lists a long history of published results and race photography from past years.
Athletes must pick up race packets at a designated packet-pickup location at the Yaquina Bay Yacht Club; there is no packet or number pick-up on race day. There are no registrations available at packet pick-up, and races may reach capacity.
