Twisted Ankle Trail Race
The Twisted Ankle Trail Race takes place on September 12, 2026 in Summerville, GA at Sloppy Floyd State Park (2800 Sloppy Floyd Lake Road). The 2026 event marks the 20th running of Becky's Bluff and 20 years of donating all proceeds to the park. For 2026 only, a special "Double The Fun 20 Year Special" adds a 20 mile option that includes two trips up Becky's Bluff.
The course uses wide trails, some single track, and reaches Marble Mine and a short section on the Pinhoti Trail. Runners should expect rocks and roots on the route. The event offers multiple distance options:
- 5K about 3.1 miles
- 10 mile approximately 10 miles
- Half marathon approximately 13.1 miles
- 20 mile Double The Fun special with two trips up Becky's Bluff
