The Wolf Nation 5K & Wolf Cub 1 Mile Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Rome High School in Rome, GA. This is the 8th annual edition. Proceeds and donations support Rome High School cross country and track and field teams and help build the school running programs. The event is rain-or-shine-or-snow.

The course is described as relatively flat and will be professionally timed using RFID electronic chip technology by Wire2Wire Running. Strollers are allowed. The event typically attracts over 200 runners and walkers.
Entry fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile, with higher fees on race day. Pre-registration closes January 25, 2026; paper registration must be submitted by January 23, 2026. T-shirt size is guaranteed for those who register by January 23, 2026. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at GoGo Running in Rome. Race day registration is available at Rome High School.
Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female finishers, top master male and female, and top three in multiple age groups from 10 & under through 70 & over. Additional awards include "Youngest Cub" and "Alpha Wolf." The 1 Mile awards top three male and female in age groups 3-8, 9-12, and 13-17. Course maps are available.
