Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on December 12, 2026, in Punta Gorda, Florida, at South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper St. The event offers the following distances:

All entrants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.
Course and logistics
The courses are on asphalt and use out-and-back segments. The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile one-way segment (1.56 miles round trip); the 5K repeats that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile one-way segment (2.18 miles round trip) and repeats that out-and-back six times. The published course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Parking is available by the baseball fields. Bathrooms are located by the starting line. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume feature, series points, and awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
