Medal Madness 5K, 10K and Half Marathon in Punta Gorda
The event takes place at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, FL. Races are held on an asphalt course with bathrooms located by the starting line. Parking is available by the baseball fields.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back loop that measures 0.78 miles one way, or 1.56 miles round trip. The 5K completes that out-and-back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back loop that measures 1.09 miles one way, or 2.18 miles round trip, and repeats that out-and-back six times.
All runners must register online; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is provided on race day. The course time limit for the event is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Finisher medals are available. A shirt and gear shop and awards, including a best costume category and series points, are part of the event program.
