Twinkling Boardwalk Fun Run
The Twinkling Boardwalk Fun Run is a non-competitive running and walking event held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The course covers a 1.6 mile route that begins at Plyler Park on Ocean Boulevard. Participants travel south before turning toward the pier and returning along the Boardwalk, which features a holiday lights display as part of the Winter Wonderland at the Beach.
The event follows an untimed format, and no competitive awards are presented. Instead, all participants are entered into a raffle prize drawing. Post-event activities in the park include music from a live DJ, hot chocolate, and candy canes. Registration options include:
- 1.6 mile Fun Run
- Virtual Option
The course policy prohibits animals, with the exception of ADA-recognized service animals. For safety reasons, participants with service animals are asked to start at the back of the group. Additionally, wheeled devices such as strollers, baby joggers, skateboards, rollerblades, and bicycles are not allowed on the course. Participants using ADA-recognized mobility aids or wheelchairs are permitted and should also begin the run at the rear of the field.
Registered participants receive a participant bib, a shirt (while supplies last), and a medal made in the USA. Packet pickup is available on the day before the event at Native Sons and on the afternoon of the run at Plyler Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
