Twinkling Boardwalk Fun Run
The Twinkling Boardwalk Fun Run takes place on December 8, 2026 in Myrtle Beach at Plyler Park / Moe Moons, 1100 N Ocean Blvd. The event features a 1.6 mile untimed route along the Boardwalk and through part of the beachfront area. All participants are entered into a raffle prize drawing; no awards are presented.
The course begins at Plyler Park on Ocean Boulevard, continues south, turns left onto 2nd Avenue North toward the Pier, turns left onto the Boardwalk, and returns to Plyler Park. Event amenities mentioned for the in person gathering include a live DJ, hot chocolate, and candy canes at Moe Moons.
Participant rules and accessibility notes are specified. Animals are not permitted on the race course; service animals recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act are permitted and those participants should inform staff at bib pickup and begin toward the back of the field. Baby joggers, baby strollers, skateboards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles, and other wheeled devices are not permitted and may result in disqualification. Wheelchairs and mobility aids recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act are permitted with the same request to inform staff and start near the back.
Packet pickup locations are listed for the days before and the day of the event. Race swag includes a participant bib, a participant shirt while supplies last, and a participant medal made in the USA. A virtual option is available; virtual race swag is mailed within two weeks after the race and shipping is included in the virtual registration fee.
