TWIN RIVERS YMCA Turkey Trot 5K & 10K
The event is the 19th Annual Turkey Trot held on November 26, 2026 at Taberna Golf and Country Club in New Bern, North Carolina. Multiple race options are offered for adults and children on the same day.

The 10 km is a timed race for competitive runners. The 5 km includes timed and untimed options and has designated divisions for dog jogs and stroller participants; dogs must be on a fixed leash and owners must clean up after them. The Kid's Dash is for children 10 and under; all Kid's Dash participants receive a t-shirt and a medal.
Registration opens August 19. Most races have a registration deadline of October 31, while the Kid's Dash registration remains open until race morning. Pricing varies by date: 5K and 10K fees increase after October 31 and again on race day. Transaction fees are included in registration prices. Register by October 9 to guarantee a race shirt and preferred size; a dry fit shirt carries an additional $10 and requires registration by October 9 to guarantee availability. No refunds and no transfers.
Packet pickup is available at Twin Rivers YMCA on November 23, 24, and 25 with scheduled times. On event day there is free parking in the Taberna subdivision and a shuttle from the clubhouse. Prohibited on course: skateboards, scooters, roller skates, roller blades, and bicycles.
