Twin Lakes 20 in Milton Keynes
The TWIN LAKES 20 is a race held on Sunday 21 March 2027 in the Milton Keynes countryside. The event offers two distance options:
- 10 miles
- 20 miles
The course is described as scenic, fast, flat, and traffic free. The 20 mile option uses a two lap format. For 2027 the route has been revised between Simpson and Woughton on the Green: a narrow canal towpath section has been removed and replaced by a wider, more flowing stretch to give runners more room to run and to overtake comfortably.
The event is presented as preparation for spring half marathon or marathon training and can be used as a key long run in a training plan. Participants who enter the 20 mile distance but run only 10 miles on race day will still receive the event tee and medal. The race also includes a fundraising element for Willen Hospice.
