Course and location
The event is based at Willen Lake, Milton Keynes (postcode MK15 0DS). The course laps two lakes and runs alongside the River Ouzel and the Grand Union Canal. The surface is multi-terrain: about 80% on cycle paths, some sections on gravel, and the remainder on the canal towpath. The course is described as traffic-free through the Milton Keynes countryside.
