Event overview
Twilight at the Bay is a road race held at Chambers Bay Loop Trail in University Place, Washington on August 15, 2026. The event offers three distance options:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
The event is USATF sanctioned and features custom Run Super Series finishers medals and participant swag.
Course and race logistics
The course uses a paved clockwise loop. The 5k is one loop, the 10k is two loops, and the half marathon consists of one longer unique loop plus three additional loops. Each loop has about 236 feet of elevation gain. There will be one aid station just over halfway around the loop (near mile 1.7) and an aid station at the start/finish area (near mile 3.1). Aid stations will provide water and Gatorade; the start/finish aid will also have energy gels.
Packet pick-up and day-of registration take place at the start/finish area at Chambers Bay. Parking is available in the Central Meadows lot or the North Driving Range lot. Participants may leave a drop bag at the start/finish. Strollers are allowed but must stay behind competitive runners; dogs are not permitted per USATF certification.
