Tutu Dash 5K
The Tutu Dash 5K is a community fundraising event held at Broomfield County Commons Park. Participants move through a course that features mountain views and open space. The terrain consists of a combination of dirt trails and sidewalks. This event is organized as a fun run and walk, and the 5K distance is not officially timed.
The race serves as a fundraiser for the Colorado Conservatory of Dance, a nonprofit organization that provides education and performances to the Broomfield community. Proceeds support the organization's move to a new studio space.
Available event distances include:
- 5K run or walk consisting of three loops.
- 1 Mile kids run on a portion of the main course.
- Virtual 5K option for remote participation.
The 1 Mile kids run includes music and volunteers stationed along the path. Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult on this course. Participants receive a shirt, which is distributed during designated pickup times at the Colorado Conservatory of Dance on Industrial Lane in the days leading up to the race.
