Tutu Dash 5K : Broomfield, Colorado
The event centers on a community fun run and fundraiser organized by the Colorado Conservatory of Dance. Activities take place at Broomfield County Commons Park, 13200 Sheridan Blvd., Broomfield, CO 80020. The 5K course is a three loop route on a combination of dirt trail and sidewalk through open space with mountain views. The 5K run/walk will not be officially timed.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk: untimed three loop course on dirt trail and sidewalk
- Kids Run: 1 mile loop of the 5K course with music and volunteers
- Virtual 5K: remote participation option supporting the same fundraiser
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult along the course. Race shirts are distributed at packet pick up; virtual participants who purchase a shirt will receive it by mail. Packet pick up occurs at the Colorado Conservatory of Dance location on June 11 and June 12.
The event supports a fundraising goal of $50,000 to assist the Colorado Conservatory of Dance with its move to a new studio space.
