Event
The Tuscazoar Endurance Race takes place on September 5, 2026 at Camp Tuscazoar, 6066 Boy Scout Rd NE, Dover, Ohio. The course is a 25-mile loop used for multiple race distances. Distances offered include:
- 100 mile
- 75 mile
- 50 mile
- 50 mile (night start)
- 25 mile
- 25 mile (night start)
Course and logistics
The loop is about 95% trail. The route stays on Camp Tuscazoar property for most of the course, with one 5.5-mile section on private property. GPX course maps are available for the course sections. Aid stations are located at multiple points on the loop, with crew access at several sites. A main aid station and start/finish area include a drop bag area inside Kimble Hall and an additional drop bag location at the Tuscazoar Preserve aid station. Drop bags will be transported to the Preserve after each start and may need to be retrieved there after finishing.
Rules, cutoffs and pacers
The event is cupless; runners must carry their own hydration and a reusable cup for aid station drinks. Cutoff limits are set by distance. Pacers are allowed only for the 100 mile and 75 mile races, not before mile 50, and only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time. Pacers must sign a liability waiver, may use aid station food, and may only enter or exit at designated crew-access aid stations.
Awards and accommodations
All finishers receive an award. 100 mile and 75 mile finishers receive a belt buckle; 50 mile and 25 mile finishers receive a medal. Overall male and female awards and age-group awards (1st and 2nd by decade) are given. Camping and other overnight accommodations are available through Camp Tuscazoar, which offers tent sites, shelters, RV spots, and bunkhouse-style cabins.
