Tuscazoar Endurance Race - Camp Tuscazoar, Dover OH, September 5, 2026
The Tuscazoar Endurance Race is the eighth running of an ultramarathon held on a 25 mile loop at Camp Tuscazoar in Tuscarawas County. The loop is described as roughly 95% trail and includes a 5.5 mile section that crosses private property. Most of the course remains on camp property.
Multiple race distances are offered:
- 100 Mile
- 75 Mile
- 50 Mile
- 50 Mile Night
- 25 Mile
- 25 Mile Night
Cutoff limits are set by distance: 34 hours for the 100 and 75 mile races, 32 hours for the 50 mile, 31 hours for the 25 mile, and 21 hours for the night 50 and 25 mile races. All runners must begin their final loop within the race timing rules and the course closes after the event ends.
Aid stations are placed around the loop with several crew-accessible locations and some no-crew stations. A main aid station at the start/finish area has a drop bag area inside Kimble Hall; drop bags are also delivered to the Preserve aid station. The event is cupless; runners should carry personal hydration and a reusable cup for aid station liquids.
Pacers are permitted only for the 100 and 75 mile distances and must follow pacing rules. All finishers receive an award; higher-distance finishers receive specific awards and age and overall prizes are given. No refunds are offered, but 100% credit deferral to the following year is available up to three weeks before the race. Runners may change their registered distance before their race start; distance changes after the start are recorded as DNF. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
