Race details

Cutoff limits are given by race distance: 34 hours for 100 and 75 mile races, 32 hours for 50 mile, 31 hours for 25 mile, and 21 hours for the night 50 and 25 mile races. The race is cupless: runners must carry hydration and a reusable cup for aid stations; cups for hot soup and coffee are provided. Drop bags may be left at Kimble Hall (main aid/start area) and at the Tuscazoar Preserve aid station; bags are transported to the Preserve aid after each start. Pacers are allowed only for the 100 and 75 mile races with restrictions: no pacers before mile 50, one pacer at a time, pacers may not carry supplies, and waivers are required. Finishers receive awards: belt buckles for 100 and 75 mile finishers, medals for 50 and 25 mile finishers; overall male and female and age-group awards are given. No refunds; deferral for 100% credit is allowed up to three weeks before the race. Changing distance is allowed before the race start; after the race starts a change results in DNF and no finisher award.
