Made in Ohio Half - Massillon, OH
The event takes place on Sunday, March 21, 2027, at the Towpath Trail - Lake Avenue Trailhead and Ernie's Bicycle Shop in Massillon, Ohio. Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon : 13.1094 miles
- 10K
- 5K
The half marathon and 10K use sections of the Towpath Trail and include about three miles of rolling hills; the remainder of those courses follows the flat Towpath to the Lake Avenue Trailhead. The 5K course is on the Towpath and is described as flat. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour time limit.
Aid and race support include water stops on all courses, with additional Gatorade and energy gel available on the half marathon course only. Specific aid locations and porta potty placements are provided along the courses, and finish-line refreshments include snacks and water. Participants receive one swag item (long sleeve shirt or no swag option with a $5 reduction); hoodie upgrades and add-ons are available for an extra fee. All finishers receive a medal.
Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers, plus first place male and female in age groups from 9 & Under through 80+. Volunteer opportunities are available for event-day support. Limited VIP parking is listed near the Lake Avenue Trailhead with a restricted number of paid spots.
