Turtle Crawl 2026 : Jekyll Island, GA
Turtle Crawl 2026 is an annual race event taking place on April 25, 2026, at Jekyll Island, 100 James Rd, Jekyll Island, GA 31527. The event raises funds for the Georgia Sea Turtle Center through the Jekyll Island Foundation and supports the Center’s work in sea turtle rehabilitation, research, and education.

Registration includes a 2026 Turtle Crawl t-shirt for supporters and medals for runners placing in their age groups. Online registration closes April 22 at 11:59 PM. To guarantee a chosen t-shirt size and to switch to virtual registration, the deadline is April 10. The deadline to switch races online is April 21. Packet pickup is scheduled for April 24 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and packets may also be available on race morning; in person registration and packet pickup accept cash or check only. For virtual Ghost Crawler participants, t-shirt delivery could be delayed by mail carrier or production issues.
Pets are not allowed to run or walk in any of the events. Turtle Crawl began in 2003; the Georgia Sea Turtle Center has cared for more than 3,000 patients, and past participants have raised over $100,000 for sea turtle efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
