Event overview

The annual Turtle Crawl is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, on Jekyll Island, Georgia (100 James Rd, Jekyll Island, GA 31527). The event raises funds for the Georgia Sea Turtle Center through the Jekyll Island Foundation to support sea turtle rehabilitation, research, and education. Pets are not allowed to run or walk in any event.

Online registration closes Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The deadline to switch registration to virtual or to guarantee a race T-shirt size is Friday, April 10. The deadline to switch races online is April 21, 2026. Ghost Crawler (virtual) registration ends April 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, April 24 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with additional packet pickup available on race morning. Race day registration and packet pickup prices are listed as: 10K $65, 5K $55, Fun Run $35; race day payment is cash or check only. Registration normally includes a 2026 Turtle Crawl t-shirt; age-group finishers receive medals. Course maps and additional details are to be posted by the organizers.
