Race Overview
Run Jekyll is a multi-event running weekend located on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The event features a variety of distances held over two days, allowing participants to choose single races or combined "double" challenges. The scenery includes coastal views, nature trails, and historic landmarks throughout the island.
The event structure takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Participants can select from the following distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon (21 km)
- Marathon (42 km)
- 5k/21k Double (18.2 miles total)
- 10k/21k Double (19.3 miles total)
- 5k/42k Double (29.3 miles total)
- 10k/42k Double (32.4 miles total)
Event Logistics
The 10 km and 5 km races are held on Saturday, while the Half Marathon and Marathon take place on Sunday. The "Double" options involve completing one race on Saturday followed by another on Sunday. The primary starting point for the races is located on Stable Road.
All participants who complete their designated distance receive a finisher medal. Participants who register by December 11th are provided with an event t-shirt. Packet pickup is organized at the Jekyll Island Club across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
