The Turriff Primary School Rainbow Run
The Turriff Primary School Rainbow Run is a school fundraising fun run held on 26 June 2026 at Turriff Primary School. The event is open to participants ages 3 and up and takes place within the school grounds while runners are covered in coloured powder.
Entry is charged at £8 per runner. Adults may run with younger children. All runners must be signed up before the event; sign up opens on 15 May and closes on 24 June. The event uses multiple timed waves with a maximum of 50 people per wave.
The route is approximately 1 km long and uses tarred and grassy areas. The course includes a slope and some obstacles and will feature stations with coloured powder. All runners receive a pair of protective glasses to keep and must wear these while running. Goodies and medals are provided for all participants.
Refreshment vans will be located in the playground and confirmed vendors include JP's Wrap Shack, Little Miss Whippy Ice Cream Van and A&Z's Delicious Donuts. Teas, coffees and treats will be available at the school stall for cash only. Car parking on site is very limited. No dogs are permitted in the playground or field.
