Holiday Half Marathon - Annandale
The Holiday Half and 4 Miler is a weekend running event in Annandale, Virginia held on December 12 and 13, 2026. The event is in its 12th year and uses trails near and around Lake Accotink and nearby neighborhood streets.

The Half Marathon course follows the Cross County Trail toward Americana Park, includes a short neighborhood loop, and runs clockwise around Lake Accotink to the parking lots. Runners pass through the parking area to rejoin the trail toward Byron Park, take a short dog leg under Old Keene Mill Road, complete the loop around Byron Park, and return toward Lake Accotink. At the lake the route proceeds counterclockwise toward the finish, largely returning along the outward route.
The course surface is primarily paved trails, with some sections of gravel and dirt. There are four water stops distributed along the half marathon route, with the possibility to stop twice at most locations; the final water stop is located at about mile 11.
