Event Details

The Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint takes place in early December at Bakersfield Park in Flower Mound, Texas. It is part of the town's Christmas program. The event offers two distances:

5K
Fun Run (for participants aged 1 to 12)

Charitable Purpose

All income from the event supports local and international charity work.

On-Site Activities

After the runs, Santa and the Grinch will be available for photos. Refreshments including coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, and pancakes will be provided for participants. The Fun Run for children features a course through a make-believe town with characters from a Christmas story.

Awards and Logistics

Age group awards are given for the top three male and female finishers in multiple categories, as well as for overall and master (age 40+) winners. Chip timing is used, and results are posted online.
