Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint - Flower Mound
The Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint takes place on 12/05/2026 as part of the Town Christmas program at Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane, Flower Mound, TX 75028. The event includes a 5K and a children’s fun run.
The 5K course goes through the park and features rolling hills. The course narrows in some spots and may cause people to trip. Dogs are not permitted. Walkers are welcome. Participants pushing strollers are asked to start toward the back.
The Fun Run is open to children 12 and under; adults may run alongside their children for support. On the Fun Run, children run through a make-believe town with characters from a Christmas tale. Santa and the Grinch will be available for photos after the runs.
Registration fees listed for the event are $30.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Fun Run. Shirts and medals are available on a first come, first serve basis. The event provides coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, and pancakes to runners. One hundred percent of the income from the run supports local and international charity work.
