Turkey Trot Tune Up and Kid's Turkey Dash
The event on 11/15/2026 in Portland, Maine includes a community run and a short children’s dash. It marks the 5th Annual Turkey Trot Tune Up and the 7th Anniversary of the organizing group. The main run is a 3.5 mile route around Back Cove.

The Kid's Turkey Dash is a free 100 meter race for children up to 9 years old. Turkey headbands will be available for participating children. The kids dash is scheduled before the Tune Up race.
Registration details are given per event. The Tune Up has a registration fee of $25; the Kid's Dash is free. Registrants receive one entry to a post-race raffle and a $25 off voucher for a Physical Therapy Evaluation. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the male, female, and non-binary categories; winners may choose Starting Line Gear.
Event amenities include a traditional post-race pancake breakfast. WinterKids is the beneficiary and will receive 50% of proceeds plus any additional raffle ticket sales on race day. Participants using strollers and leashed dogs are welcome and are asked to start at the back of the pack for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
