About the race
Turkey Trot STL in St. Charles is a Thanksgiving Day running event held at The Family Arena on November 26, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and raises funds for O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry; recent fundraising shows $227.59 raised toward a $3,000 goal, and the event reports past donations of over $42,000 and 48,000 pounds of canned goods to local food pantries since 2014.

The 5K course in St. Charles is described as flat, out-and-back, and certified for distance accuracy by USA Track & Field (MO15025LJ). Wheelchair athletes are welcome to compete, courteously-driven strollers are permitted, and dogs are not allowed on the course. Results are emailed to all finishers and can be sent by text if a cell phone number is provided during registration. Video of each finisher crossing the line is made available after the event.
Registrants can choose among swag options: a long sleeve shirt, a custom beanie, a $10 Fleet Feet gift card, or save $8 by skipping swag. Virtual participants may pay to have swag shipped.
