Event overview
Turkey Trot STL in St. Charles takes place on November 27, 2025 at the St. Charles Family Arena. The event offers a 5K and a 1/2 mile kids run. A virtual 5K option is available with an option to have race swag shipped. The event benefits O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry and has raised funds and food for local pantries; since 2014 the series reports over $38,000 and 45,000 pounds of canned goods donated.
Course, logistics and awards
The 5K course in St. Charles is described as flat and out-and-back and is certified for distance accuracy by USA Track & Field (MO15025LJ). Wheelchair athletes are welcomed to compete. Children in courteously-driven strollers are permitted; dogs are not allowed on course. Race results are sent by email, and participants who provided a cell phone number during registration may receive results by text. Video of each finisher will be available by link sent after the event. Awards are given to the top three male and female 5K finishers and top male and female finishers in age groups: 12 & under; 13-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70 & over.

Packet pickup is offered on the days before the event at Fleet Feet St. Charles and on race day at St. Charles Family Arena. Volunteers are recruited for packet pickup, course marshaling, and pre/post-race duties and receive swag or a gift card. Swag choices include a long-sleeve shirt, a custom beanie, or a $10 Fleet Feet gift card; a finisher medal is available for purchase. Fundraising and sponsor partners are listed for the event.
