Krogh's Turkey Trot is the 19th annual "Tradition before the Tradition" held on November 27, 2025 in Sparta, NJ. The event offers in-person and virtual options and raises funds for the Sparta Education Foundation to support educational grants in the township's public schools.

Logistics and entry
The course is an out and back USATF certified course starting and ending at Krogh's Restaurant & Brew Pub, 23 White Deer Plaza, Sparta, NJ 07871. Awards are given to male and female finishers by age group, including youth age group medals. All participants receive a goody bag and a t-shirt while supplies last.
Published entry fees include: 5K : $35 ($30 for ages 0-17); 1-Mile Fun Run : $20 for youth, $25 for ages 18-99; Virtual 5K : $35 ($30 for ages 0-17). Prices increase after November 24, 2025. The event is held as a charity for the Sparta Education Foundation and will be live and virtual. There will be no refunds if the event is canceled for reasons beyond the organizers' control.
