Event details
The Reindeer Run takes place on December 13, 2025 in Woodley Park, Van Nuys, CA (6350 Woodley Ave.). Distances offered:
- 5k (one loop)
- 10k (two loops)
- 15k (three loops)
- Half marathon (three 4.36-mile loops)
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and free videos, posted results within 12-24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples.
Course and logistics
The event uses an open out-and-back looped course in Woodley Park. The course has one small hill about 0.6 miles from the start. Aid stations are located on every loop and provide water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Participants must use the pedestrian tunnel and must not cross Woodley Ave. Bibs must be visible on the front for photos and results to be recorded. There is a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; an early start may be available by request to the organizer. Parking is available in the park lots off Woodley Ave. and Victory Blvd., with additional overflow dirt parking near the golf course. Transfers are allowed by contacting the organizer; the event has a no-refund policy. Volunteer positions may be offered in exchange for a free race entry.
