Course and format
The course is a cross-country trail routed on the Millenium Loop Trail and nearby singletrack in Las Virgenes Canyon Valley. Features include switchbacks, hillside running, two pyramid trails with expansive views, several creek crossings, and varied eco-systems. Aid station cut-offs are shown at Mile 6.4 (Parkway Calabasas) and Mile 10.5 (The Merge). All SoCalTrail races are listed as CUPLESS.
Amenities, awards and series
Entries include a locally made finisher medal and event photography. The event provides plant-based breakfast options, hot coffee, sponsor giveaways, sports massage services, finish-line announcements and same-day results, and professional medical support. Awards include age-group and overall podium places; the 22k carries a $500 course record bonus. The race is part of a six-race half-marathon series; completing at least three races qualifies a runner for series prize consideration, and finishing all six earns a collectible series plaque.
