East Providence Turkey Trot
The event on November 14, 2026 features two chip-timed running races that start and finish at Pierce Memorial Stadium in East Providence, RI. The courses run out on Lyons Ave, continue along Veterans Memorial Parkway, and return on the East Bay Bike Path with views of Narragansett Bay and the City of Providence.
Distances:
- 10K course follows Lyons Ave and Veterans Memorial Parkway.
- 5K course follows a shorter route and returns on the East Bay Bike Path.
Race services include two water stations along the course. All participants receive a medal; trophies are awarded to the overall male and female finishers in both the 10K and 5K. All online registrants who sign up by November 6th will receive a T-shirt.
Registration information is provided for each distance with fees of $40 for the 10K and $30 for the 5K; registration opens July 10, 2026 for the 5K and August 5, 2026 for the 10K, with registration closing on November 14, 2026.
Packet pick up takes place the morning of the race at Hennessey School on Mercer Street, across from Pierce Field, from 7:30 to 8:45. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
