Turkey Trot at Springbank Park
The Turkey Trot is a traditional running event held in London, Ontario, taking place on Thanksgiving Monday at Springbank Park on Commissioners Road West. This athletic gathering features multiple distances and serves as a community event where donations are collected on-site for the London Food Bank.
Participants can choose from three different course options:
- Turkey Trot 6.5K: A cross-country loop featuring varied terrain, including grass, single-track paths, stone chips, and short paved sections.
- Turkey Trot 2K: A single loop course consisting entirely of grass surfaces.
- Kiddy Trot: A short run of approximately 200 meters across the grass designed for young children.
The event utilizes the natural landscape of the park, providing a mix of surfaces for runners. Registration is open to the public with tiered pricing based on the registration date.
