Turkey Trot 5K & 1-Mile - Yucaipa Community Park
The Healthy Yucaipa Committee organizes the 5th Annual Turkey Trot 5K and 1-Mile on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Yucaipa Community Park (34900 Oak Glen Rd.). The event will take place rain or shine.
Distances
- 5K: 3.1 miles on park trails, two-lap course.
- 1 Mile: Short scenic mile through Yucaipa Community Park.
Both the 5K and the 1-mile runs will be timed using a race timing system. Registration is required in advance; no walk-in or day of registration will be accepted. Early registration runs September 1 to October 31, 2026 with fees listed as $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-mile. Late registration runs November 1 to 25, 2026 with fees listed as $40 for the 5K and $30 for the 1-mile. Registration includes a race t-shirt while supplies last, a finisher's medal, race bib, and timing chip. All sales are final and no refunds are offered.
Age groups are separated for awards, with categories including youth and multiple adult age brackets. The top three finishers in each category will receive a trophy. Children ages three and older are subject to race fees. Participants may walk the course. Dogs on a six foot leash are permitted and must start in the last wave.
