Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile in Yucaipa
The Healthy Yucaipa Committee presents the 5th Annual Turkey Trot, a timed 5K and 1 Mile event on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Yucaipa Community Park, 34900 Oak Glen Rd., Yucaipa, CA. The event will take place rain or shine. No walk-in or day of registration will be accepted; all participants must be pre-registered.
Distances
- 5K - 3.1 miles on park trails, two-lap course
- 1 Mile - short scenic mile through Yucaipa Community Park
Registration is offered in two periods: early registration from September 1 to October 31, 2026, and late registration from November 1 to 25, 2026. Fee levels are published for each period. Registration includes a race t-shirt in limited inventory, a finisher’s medal, a race bib, and a timing chip. All sales are final and there are no refunds. A timing system will be used for both distances. The top three finishers in each category will receive a trophy. Race categories cover multiple age groups including 10 & under, 17 & under, 18+, 40+, and 50+. Children age three and older are subject to race fees. Participants may walk the course. Dogs are permitted if kept on a 6 ft leash and are asked to start with the last group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
