True Options Turkey Trot
The True Options Turkey Trot is the 11th annual running event held in Sherman, TX on November 21, 2026. The event benefits True Options Pregnancy Center and all proceeds are given to the center to support services for people facing unplanned pregnancy. The event includes a family-friendly fun run and a chip-timed 5K race.
Distances and options:
- 5K run with chip timing
- 1 Mile Fun Run or Walk
- Sleep In T-shirt option
- 5K team registration for five or more runners
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female awards and 1st through 3rd place in age groups: 1–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. The fun run offers a special prize for anyone who beats the racing turkey. T-shirt availability is limited and sizes may not be available on race day. Registration fees vary by entry type and increase closer to the event date. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
