SEF Arts Fest 5K & Bubble-K Fun Run - 21st Annual
The SEF Arts Fest 5K and Bubble-K Fun Run take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Piner Middle School in Sherman, Texas. The event raises funds for the Sherman Education Foundation to support programs and enrichment for the Sherman Independent School District. Since 1999 the foundation has raised more than $3 million for SISD students and teachers.

The 5K course follows city streets, beginning at the intersection of Rusk and Laurel Streets, proceeding to King Street, Travis Street, Lake Street with a water station, Crockett Street, and returning to the finish at King and Rusk. The Bubble-K Fun Run begins and ends at the same start and finish area on a much shorter route.
A virtual entry option labeled "I'm Sleepin' In" is offered for participants who prefer not to attend in person; that option can include a T shirt. T shirts are guaranteed for early registered entries and the first 250 5K registrants receive swag bags.
The 5K features cash awards and medals for top finishers including 1st overall male and female and masters and grand masters categories. Top three finishers in each age group also receive awards.
