SEF Arts Fest 5K & Bubble-K Fun Run
The event takes place Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Sherman, Texas at Piner Middle School, 402 W. Pecan. It combines a community 5K run and walk with a shorter Bubble-K Fun Run and a virtual option called "I'm Sleepin' In, but I Want a T-Shirt."

Registration has tiered fees for individual and group entries with early, pre race, and late race day rates listed for each race. A virtual registration option is available that includes a t shirt for the registrant. Early registered 5K entrants are guaranteed a t shirt and the first 250 5K registrants receive swag bags.
The 5K course follows local streets including Rusk, Laurel, King, Travis, Lake and Crockett before returning to the finish line. The 1K Fun Run begins and ends at the same start and finish area on a much shorter route. A Bubble Foam party follows the 1K.
The event awards cash prizes for top overall finishers and age based prizes. Cash awards include amounts for first place overall and first place in several masters age divisions; top age group finishers also receive awards. Proceeds support the Sherman Education Foundation, which has raised more than $3 million since its inception in 1999 to benefit Sherman Independent School District students and teachers.
