SEF Arts Fest 5K & Bubble-K Fun Run : 21st Annual
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Sherman, Texas at Piner Middle School, 402 W. Pecan. It includes a 5K run/walk and a shorter Bubble-K fun run. The 5K is offered in timed and non-timed formats, and a virtual "I'm Sleepin' In" option is available that includes a T-shirt.

Entry fees vary by category and registration window, with different rates for individual, group, pre-registration, and race-day entries. Group pricing is available for parties of five or more. Early registration guarantees a T-shirt; the first 250 registered 5K participants receive swag bags.
The 5K course follows a measured route through downtown Sherman, using Rusk, Laurel, King, Travis, Lake, Crockett, and returning streets to the finish line. The Bubble-K Fun Run begins and ends at the same start/finish area on a much shorter route. A bubble foam party is planned following the 1K.
The event raises funds for the Sherman Education Foundation to support Sherman Independent School District programs. Since 1999, SEF has raised more than $3 million to support students and teachers. The 5K includes cash awards and medals for top overall and age-category finishers; top three finishers in each age group receive awards.
