Turkey Trails - Colorado Springs
Turkey Trails - Colorado Springs is an annual Thanksgiving-themed running event held at Goose Gossage Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event program includes in-person and virtual options and multiple race formats across the same day.
Races and program features include chip timing with live results and awards, free photos, and post-race treats. Several race entries include event apparel and finish items: the Half Marathon, 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile all list a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The Kids Dash includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a medal; children may run the Kids Dash without receiving swag for no fee. The Running Buddy Half Marathon requires prior application and approval and has no registration fee. The Volunteer then Run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and allows participants to run any distance afterward. A Girls on the Run 5K and a virtual race option are also part of the schedule.
Listed entry fees vary by race and category, and youth pricing for the 5K/10K is noted for participants 12 and under at $17. Registration windows differ by event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
