Chasing Santa 5K / Cycling Santa Toy Drive
The Chasing Santa event takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, in Colorado Springs at 5725 Mark Dabling Blvd. It is a combined run and bike event that serves as a toy drive benefitting local children and families in the Colorado Springs area. Participants are asked to bring unwrapped toys for donation.
Distances and route options include:
- 5K run/walk
- Cycling route 6 miles
- Cycling route 10 miles
- Longer cycling route 21 miles
Registration for most paid entries includes a complete Santa suit consisting of pants, jacket, belt, hat and a beard. Toddlers age 4 and under are free with an adult registration and will receive a complete Santa suit.
Santa suits are distributed at a nearby pickup location at 5755 Mark Dabling Blvd on the day before and on the day of the event. One cycling route uses the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort as a turnaround point, where coffee and fresh waffles are served before participants return.
