Turkey Day 8K, 5K Trot and 3K Family Fun Run
The event takes place on November 26, 2026 at the University of Montana, 32 Campus Drive, Missoula, MT. Courses travel the University District and run along the Clark Fork River. Donations and a portion of event proceeds go to the Missoula Food Bank.
Distances:
- 8K timed with chip timing and eligible for overall prizes
- 5K Trot timed with chip timing
- 3K Family Fun Run untimed and noncompetitive, intended for families
Timed races have registration windows beginning September 10, 2026 and closing October 22, 2026; 3K registration remains open through race day. Entry fees for the timed events are listed by the organizer; the 3K has no registration fee. The first 1,000 registrants for the timed races receive a custom BOCO winter hat. Run Wild Missoula members receive a $3 registration discount. For the 3K, registration is required, race bibs are not included, and a winter hat is available for purchase during registration.
Strollers are allowed and should start near the back of the pack to avoid obstructing other participants. Dogs are not permitted except for ADA service animals on a non retractable leash of six feet or less. Entry fees are non refundable, non transferable, and non deferrable as stated in the race waiver.
