Light the Way 5k : Overview
The Light the Way 5k takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Fort Missoula Regional Park in Missoula, MT (3401-3499 South Ave W). The event program includes a main 5k race and a free Kid's 1/2 Mile Fun Run. Registration fees are tiered by date: $30 for entries submitted between September 2 and November 30, and $35 for entries from December 1 through race day.

The course is lined with luminaires and there will be holiday music. Participants receive a custom race bib and chip timing. Post-race refreshments include cookies, candy canes, and hot cocoa. The event also features an ugly sweater contest and awards for the top three men and top three women. Race-day packet pick up is available at the Runner's Edge and at Fort Missoula Regional Park. Parking is located on the south side of the soccer fields at Fort Missoula Regional Park. Sponsors include Sapphire Physical Therapy.
