Turkey Burn Ultra at Lake Louisa State Park
Turkey Burn Ultra takes place at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont, FL on Saturday, November 28, 2026. The event offers two distance options:
- 50K
- 25K
The course uses a 16.2 mile loop that mixes wooded hard-packed singletrack, open grass, sandy hills, shell rock gravel roads, and other trail types. Trails in the park pass through 11 natural communities, including sand hills, swamp forests, creeks, and lakes, and the 50K course includes about 700 feet of total elevation gain. Trail composition is approximately 75 percent singletrack and 25 percent gravel or paved surfaces.
Aid and support include four fully stocked stations with food, drinks, and medical support, professional timing, a race shirt or hat, and a finisher medal. The event provides free professional race photos and videos for participants. Routes are flagged and signed; runners must punch all flags to receive course credit and must follow race staff and medical instructions. Trekking poles are allowed and no pacers are permitted. Crew access is limited to the start and finish area.
Entry transfers to another racer in the same event are permitted until five days before the event; there are no refunds. Runners must print and sign the required waiver and bring it to check in.
