Event Overview
The Turkey Burn Ultra takes place in Lake Louisa State Park, located in Clermont, Florida. Organized by Warrior Adventure Racing, this trail running event is held during the Thanksgiving weekend. The course features a variety of environments, including sand hills, swamp forests, creeks, and lakes. Participants can expect a mix of terrain consisting of 75% singletrack and 25% gravel or paved surfaces.

Course Details
The race utilizes a 16.2-mile loop designed to incorporate different trail types such as wooded hard-packed singletrack, open grass, sandy hills, and shell rock gravel roads. The 50 km course includes approximately 700 feet of elevation gain. The route is marked with flags and signs to assist with navigation. The time limit for completion is 9 hours for both distances.
Support and Amenities
The event provides four fully stocked aid stations equipped with food, drinks, and medical support. Participants receive a high-quality athletic shirt or hat, and finishers are awarded a medal made of metal. Professional timing services are used, and media teams provide race videos and photos at no additional cost.
Awards and Regulations
Custom awards are presented to the top three finishers in several categories, including Overall, 25 and under, 26-49, and Masters (50 and up). The first-place overall male and female runners in both distances receive a free entry for the following year. Regulations prohibit course cutting and pacers, while trekking poles are permitted.
