Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Virginia Beach, VA
The event is a community 5K run and walk held in Virginia Beach on 09/19/2026 at 1701 Atlantic Ave. The course distance is 5K (approximately 3.1 miles). The event honors those lost on September 11, 2001 and supports first responders and military personnel.
Registration is offered in multiple categories with set fees: Adult $25.00, First Responders and Military $20.00, Youth (13 to 17 years) $10.00, and Child (12 and under) $5.00. Day of registration is available. Online registration has designated opening and closing dates and some registrants who register after packet pick-up may not receive event shirts.
Packet pick up is available at a local restaurant and on race morning at the Pavilion Stage at 24th Street Park. Someone else may pick up a packet if they present a copy of the registrant’s receipt. Bib numbers must be worn on the front of the outermost garment.
The event provides three water stations along the route and water at the start and finish. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks may be worn during the event. No dogs are permitted. An emergency medical services team and radio communication will be on site.
