Nobody Walks Alone 5K : September 13, 2026
The Nobody Walks Alone 5K is a nationwide series of community 5K events organized by the COMMIT Foundation on September 13, 2026. The events take place in multiple locations across the United States and Puerto Rico, plus a virtual option that lets participants complete a 5K on any day and place.
Local meeting locations and course notes include: Jetton Park in Cornelius, NC; Northaven Trail Inwood Parking Lot in Dallas, TX; Hempstead Lake State Park in West Hempstead, NY, where the course is a scenic loop around the lake and ponds; Balneario de Culebra (Flamenco Beach) in Culebra, Puerto Rico; Mt. Trashmore / Hall Honda presence and vendor area in Virginia Beach, VA; Fletcher's Cove on the C&O Canal Towpath in Washington, DC, described as a flat out-and-back on packed earth and gravel and welcoming walkers and strollers; and Wrightsville Beach Park Recreation Center in Wilmington, NC, near the Wrightsville Beach Loop.
