Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Quincy, IL
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Quincy honors the life of Stephen Siller and remembers those who died on September 11, 2001 while supporting first responders and military. The event is scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 2533 N. 18th St., Quincy, IL 62301.
The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) open to running or walking. Registration categories include adult ($25), first responders and military ($20), youth ages 13 to 17 ($10), child 12 and under ($5), and a virtual PCG employee entry with no fee. Packet pickup details are to be announced. Day-of registration is available until the start, though shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for late registrants.
Participants are required to display their bib on the front of the outermost garment. Runners predicting a pace under 6 minutes per mile will be seeded toward the front corral. The event is currently not timed; awards focus on firefighters, police, or military who run in gear. A water station will be available on course. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted; firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also allowed. Personal items should be stored securely in vehicles at the owner’s risk.
Registration fees do not count toward fundraising totals. Donations will be accepted for six weeks after the event; offline donations may be mailed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, ATTN: Quincy, IL 5K, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
