Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Middle Tennessee
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Middle Tennessee is an event held at Warren County High School in McMinnville. This series was established to honor Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001. The event serves to remember those who died on that day and to support first responders and military service members who make sacrifices in the line of duty.
The event features a 5K (3.1 miles) distance that is open to runners and walkers of various ages and experience levels. Participants can choose from the following registration categories:
- Registration for adults
- Registration for First Responders and Military members
- Registration for teens aged 13 to 17
- Registration for children aged 12 and under
The course is located at 199 Pioneer Lane. Registration is available online, and day-of-race registration is also permitted up until the start of the event. While the event provides shirts for participants, those who register late are not guaranteed a shirt or specific sizing. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation uses these events to support fallen and injured first responders, military heroes, and their families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
