Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Jersey Shore, NJ
This event is the second annual Tunnel to Towers 5K run and walk held at 2700 Allaire Road in Wall Township, New Jersey. The event is a timed 5K (3.1 miles) intended to honor first responders and service members and to raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Packet pick up is scheduled at the event address on the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, October 14 : 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Thursday, October 15 : 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Friday, October 16 : 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday, October 17 : 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Online registration and any on-site registration close on Friday, October 16 at 3:00 PM; there is no same day registration. Fees vary by category, with separate rates listed for adults, first responders and military, youth (13 to 17), and children 12 and under. Registration fees do not count toward individual fundraising goals. Registrations may be transferred to another participant but are not refundable.
Race procedures include mandatory bib display on the front of the outermost garment; participants without a bib will be asked to leave the course. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted but must remain toward the back of the pack. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are allowed. Water will be available on the course and at the start and finish. Emergency medical services and radio communications will be available on site.
