Ocean Parks 5k at Joe Palaia Park
The Ocean Parks 5k is the third annual run and walk through the trails of Joe Palaia Park in Ocean Township, New Jersey. The event includes a 5 kilometer course and is organized to raise funds for outdoor recreation improvements for the Township of Ocean.
A new start and finish line location will be used this year. Organizers request that participants park at Dow Ave Elementary School, where volunteers will guide them to the new check-in location. Parking GPS address is 555 Dow Ave, Oakhurst, NJ 07755.
Check-in and on-site registration are available on the event day. Entry fee for the 5K is $25.00. All participants will receive a runner's medal. Participants who register before August 31 are guaranteed an event t-shirt while limited quantities are available.
Awards will be presented to the top finishers in each age group. The event takes place at Joe Palaia Park in Ocean Township and aims to support local outdoor recreation projects through the funds raised. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
