Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Milwaukee, WI
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Muskego takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Muskego Veterans Memorial Park, W182S8175 Racine Avenue, Muskego, WI 53150. The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk course.
The series was created to honor a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. The Milwaukee event honors those who lost their lives on September 11, remembers first responders, and raises funds for Tunnel to Towers programs. This will be the third year the event is presented in the Milwaukee area.
Registration availability began April 1, 2026. Listed registration categories and fees with prices valid through June 30, 2026 are: Adult Registration $35, First Responders and Military Registration $30, Youth Registration (13 to 17 years) $20, and Child Registration (12 and under) $10. A price increase is scheduled for July 1, 2026. The event includes fundraising activity for local and national Tunnel to Towers initiatives.
