Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Brooksville, FL
The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) run and walk held in Brooksville, Florida on November 21, 2026. The course includes distance markers at 0.5 mile, 1 mile, and 2 miles and will be timed using chip timing; official times are based on crossing the timing mat.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2026, at Buick GMC of Brooksville, 10305 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Day-of registration opens the morning of the event at 7:00 AM; late registrants may not receive a shirt and may not be timed.
Registration categories and fees listed for the event include Adult: $25.00, First Responders & Military: $20.00, Youth (13–17): $10.00, and Child (12 & under): $5.00 (child registration does not include a T-shirt). Registration fees do not count toward fundraising goals. Registrations may be transferred to another person until November 6; refunds are not provided.
Participants must display their bib on the front of their outermost garment; anyone on course without a bib will be asked to leave. Race photos are searchable by bib number. Water will be available on the route and at the start/finish. An Emergency Medical Service team and radio communications will be on site.
Awards include Fastest Firefighter in full gear, Fastest Police Officer in full gear, Fastest Female Overall, Fastest Male Overall, Fastest Youth (under 18), and finisher medals for all participants. Strollers, wheelchairs, firefighter turnout gear, and military backpacks are permitted. Donations to teams and individuals are accepted for six weeks after the event.
