Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Brooksville, FL
The Tunnel to Towers 5K in Brooksville, FL is a 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk held in Brooksville at 15 S Broad St. The series was created to honor a New York City firefighter who died on September 11, 2001 and supports first responders and military personnel.
The course includes distance markers at 0.5 mile, 1 mile, and 2 miles. Water will be available on the route and at the start and finish. An Emergency Medical Service team will be on site and radio communication is available along the course.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Buick GMC Brooksville, 15164 Cortez Blvd, on the Friday before the event from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Day of registration is permitted the morning of the event, though late registrants may not receive a shirt or be timed.
Registration categories and fees include adult registration for $25.00, first responders and military for $20.00, youth 13 to 17 years for $10.00, and child 12 and under for $5.00; the child registration note indicates it does not include a T-shirt. Registrations are transferable; refunds are not provided. The registration fee does not count toward fundraising totals and donations are accepted for six weeks after the event.
